COVID-19 Update.png

Preterm is continuing to provide abortion services.

In the midst of the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic, we know that our most vulnerable patients will have even more challenges getting the services they need, and community care will be key to preventing a reproductive healthcare crisis.

Preterm is committed to keeping our community safe and providing abortion care and is acting in accordance with all Centers for Disease Control and National Abortion Federation guidelines.

For our patients’ health and safety, we will continue limiting our number of daily appointments and instituting stringent precautionary measures to keep our patients, staff, and their families safe and healthy.  â€‹

To maintain as much social distance and safety as possible, only minors, those requiring translation services, and people with a disability may be accompanied. No other guests will be allowed in the waiting rooms.

Preterm has also installed I-wave air purifiers on our air handling system to safely purify the air throughout the building.

Preterm staff will be screening everyone for symptoms of Coronavirus when they call to make or confirm an appointment. Patients will also be screened for symptoms associated with Coronavirus as they enter the clinic.

Patients with symptoms associated with Coronavirus will be referred to their primary care provider or the Ohio Department of Health hotline at 833-427-5634 before they can schedule their appointment.

If you are concerned about your abortion care, call Preterm and our friendly and prepared staff will help you decide next steps.

If you have general questions about the Coronavirus, call the Cuyahoga warmline, 440-886-5950 (available from 9am–1am daily), or the State of Ohio Coronavirus Hotline, 833-427-5634.
